In addition to the degree programmes, AIMST also offers Foundation Programmes in Science and Business. Students who have completed their SPM or have equivalent  qualifications can enroll in the Foundation Programmes before proceeding to degree studies.

AIMST degree programmes, which are conducted in English, are also open to international students.We welcome a multiethnic and multinational student population that will enrich student campus life and foster a vibrant academic environment at AIMST.

Financial Aid

The University assists in obtaining financial aid for students through a number of agencies. All degree students are eligible to apply for the PTPTN loans through our Student Affairs Division. Loans from commercial banks are also available.

Student Counseling and Support Services

On-campus counseling service aims to contribute to the welfare and the well being of the student population. Our professionally trained Student Counselors provide counseling to individuals and groups, career services and disability support.

Student Affairs

The Student Affairs Division is responsible for catering to the needs and welfare of students and covers all aspects related to student development. It oversees development

and management of student activities via societies and clubs and through events such as sports, cultural and debating activities.

Healthcare

AIMST Student Health Clinic has  been set up to provide routine medical care for students and staff alike.

Student Activities and Recreation

At AIMST, we encourage students nor only to excel academically but also to participate in extra-curricular activities, including participation in student organizations.

Sport and recreational facilities available include:

• A gymnasium

• A aerobics/yoga room

Prayer rooms

Two large functionally designed prayer rooms, one for men and the other for women are available for Muslim staff and student to perform their daily prayers.

International Students Office

Our International Student Office provides several services for overseas students, some of which are VISA processing, arranging student permits, counseling and advice on financial aid

resources.

Food

AIMST Cafeteria provides catering for staff and students. Our cafeteria serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian halal food and we have a wide selection of dishes on the menu, which includes both local and western cuisine.

Accommodation

AIMST provides hostel facilities for all out-of-town and overseas students. The hostels are situated at Bandar Laguna Merbok in close proximity to the campus and comprise of several double-storey link houses rented and fully furnished by AIMST for student use. AIMST provides free transportation to students staying in hostels. Soon , when we relocate to the AIMST Semeling Campus, all students can enjoy the new and comfortable accommodation in campus hostels.
